The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her 2020 budget speech has revealed that government is planning to centralise all the government exam by introducing NRA National Recruitment Agency. It will conduct computer based exam for public sector banks and other government job exam.In the present scenario aspirants have to appear different exams for different sector like banking ,SSC, railway etc.In her speech finance minister has informed that a dedicated test centre will be formed in every district to conduct online exam.
What is NRA?
NRA is a centralised body that will cater the need of conducting online examination under one roof.It is being established to reduced the tremendous pressure of STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION AND IBPS.
HOW WILL IT FUNCTION?
As per reports ,NRA will conduct the single initial screeningi.e preliminary exam for every government exam and will forward the list of successful candidates to SSC AND IBPS to conduct the stage 2 examination.It means that there will be single preliminary exam for all government exam which will be conducted by NATIONAL RECRUITMENT AGENCY and then those students who successfully clear prelims under NRA will be forwarded towards their respective agency i.e SSC AND IBPS for mains exam
